Pups Without Borders is more than a rescue — it’s a community built to give dogs a second chance.
Founded in March 2020, our mission is simple: to step in where the need is greatest and provide lifesaving care for dogs who might otherwise be overlooked — especially pregnant mothers, nursing litters, and vulnerable puppies. From the start, we’ve focused not just on rescue, but on creating real, lasting change through medical care, spay and neuter, and responsible placement.
What began as a small, grassroots effort quickly grew into something much bigger. With the help of an incredible network of fosters, volunteers, and supporters, Pups Without Borders has evolved into a full-scale rescue operating across Southern California and beyond, including expansion into Northern California and the Bay Area.

Today, we operate through a hybrid model of foster homes and a dedicated rescue facility, allowing us to respond quickly to urgent situations while providing ongoing, hands-on care. To date, we’ve helped thousands of dogs find safety, healing, and loving homes.
At the heart of it all is community. Everything we do is made possible by the people who show up — to foster, volunteer, donate, and advocate. Because rescue isn’t just about saving dogs. It’s about building something bigger, together.
