You only need one account and one application, even if you’re interested in multiple dogs—so be sure to save your login info. You’ll use it to check your status and access important records, even after adoption.

Application Review & Interview
Our team reviews your application and typically responds within 48 hours to schedule a phone interview and discuss next steps.
Meet the Dog
If approved, you’ll be invited to meet the dog at their foster home, our facility, or another location convenient for everyone.
Finalize the Adoption
Sign your adoption contract, submit payment, and get ready to welcome your new best friend home!
A Few Helpful Things to Know
Adoption Approval
Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption – we carefully match each dog with the best possible home.
Dog Information
We do not DNA test our dogs. Breed and age are best estimates based on experience and veterinary input.
Records & Fees
Medical records are provided through AnimalsFirst after adoption. A 5% service fee applies to all adoptions.
Travel Policy
We do not source dogs from breeders or auctions. Out-of-state adopters must meet in person – we do not ship dogs.
