On Sunday, April 24th, Pups Without Borders was invited to attend a special event at the Black Rose in Los Feliz.

We jumped at the opportunity to bring a group of amazing, adoptable pups to their venue for an afternoon to meet people who came for music or happened to spot some cute puppies and decided to check things out.

Scary Spice, Angel the Pug, Rose Quartz and her sibling Sapphire, along with Hank, Dodger, and Yankee made themselves right at home and were absolutely perfect with all the visitors who wanted to grab a cocktail or pet a dog.

This was our first time visiting Black Rose, and we have to give a HUGE shout out to Torin Martinez the Music Director of Black Rose for introducing us to the venue and welcoming us in while also leading the musical performances on stage.

We also want to give a shout out to our volunteers who came to the event and helped us introduce pups, give them lots of fresh drinking water, and helped us set up in the Black Rose.

We count ourselves lucky that we have such amazing volunteers and members of our rescue family who give us opportunities like these and with any luck, this will be the first of many events like this where we can take some of our incredible, adoptable dogs out into the world where they can meet the public and help us spread the message of our rescue organization.
