Did you know that the average vet charges $600 or more for a spay? Even with the most affordable spay option available to most rescues, we will still have to pay at least $250. As a rescue that primarily takes in pregnant dogs and orphaned puppies, we end up having to sterilize most of our dogs without any help from the city or the shelters they come from. This donation ensures that one of our mama dogs is safely spayed, and can officially retire from being a mom.
